Property News: Sales of Homes in Second Hand Property Market Increase Amid More Negotiable Vendors.

Transactions for sale of the second-hand property has increased to a high of 138 resulting in a 40-week high. Buyers are taking advantage of the 5-10 percent drop in property prices from the peak. Owners are generally more negotiable with their pricing, says Anthony Hindmarsh, Director at Qi Homes Property Consultants Ltd.

It was the first time in two years that some property values had dropped below outstanding mortgage loans, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority said last week.
