Owners are generally more negotiable with their pricing, says Anthony Hindmarsh, Director at Qi Homes Property Consultants Ltd.
Hong Kong has experienced a 9 percent from their peak in July 2018 forcing some owners into negative equity.
It was the first time in two years that some property values had dropped below outstanding mortgage loans, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority said last week.
